The ideal solution to water droplet removal on extruded plastic strand, the Qualconvey Vacuum Air Knife, delivers the driest strand commercially achievable. Unlike traditional practices of blowing water off the plastic strand the Vacuum Air Knife 'sucks' water droplets into its collection head, keeping the operator dry and eliminating mist-filled atmospheres. The system comprises a specially designed vac / fan water drop-out box fitted with an adjustable suction head which houses a single pan plate.
